Marriage Preparation
All couples preparing to be married in the Catholic Church will be required to attend a marriage preparation program. There are many different options including Parish Pre-Cana, Engaged Encounter and various on-line options. Please consult with your priest or deacon to find out what options are available to you.
Preparing
It’s getting to know yourself and your partner better – so you can build a marriage that’s right for both of you.
Preparing for marriage means making the effort to:
Understand your needs and values and your partner’s
Communicate thoughts and feelings in ways that inspire mutual trust and acceptance
Recognize potential areas of conflict in your relationship
Grow together in your relationship with Christ
Explore insights into life, love and living
Share activities that you both enjoy.
