Altar Servers play an important role during Mass assisting the priest and deacon with reverence, attentiveness, and care.  Through their service they help create a prayerful and welcoming environment for the entire community.  This ministry offers a meaningful way to grow in faith, deepen an understanding of the Liturgy, and actively participate in the celebration of the Eucharist.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve the parish by assisting with the distribution of the Eucharist during Mass.  Through this sacred ministry, they help share the Body and Blood of Christ with reverence, dignity, and care.  This role is open to those who feel called to serve at the altar and bring the presence of Christ to the gathered community.

These men and women help to ensure that the funeral liturgy are celebrated with dignity, compassion, and care.  They assist with practical details during the Mass, welcome and guide guests.  This ministry offers a meaningful way to accompany othes in their time of grief.

A time of prayer and socialization as we knit and crochet shawls for those in need in a common effort to bring healing and wholeness, comfort and celebration. These shawls are given in both happy times or difficult times.   Second and fourth Tuesday of the month.

Lectors serve the parish by proclaiming the Word of God at Mass.  They help bring Scripture to life for the gathered community.  With preparation, clarity, and reverence they invite others to listen, reflect, and encounter God through the readings.  This ministry is open to those called to share their voice and deepen their connection to Scripture while supporting the prayer of the Church.

We serve a meal to an average of 120 -140 hungry people through the Open Pantry’s Loaves and Fishes Program. We buy food from monetary donations specifically for this ministry and prepare and serve the meals at the 45 Maple St church dining hall.  This is truly a Corporal Act of Mercy.  Feed the Hungry. The Second Tuesday of every month at South Congregational Church.

This ministry brings men of the parish together for fellowship, prayer, and support in living out their faith.  Through gatherings, discussions, and service projects, we encourage one another to grow as disciples of Christ, strengthen our families, and serve our parish and community.

These men and women greet fellow parishioners at the doors of the Church and distribute bulletins as people arrive.  This is a ministry of hospitality.

This ministry reaches out to parishioner's who ae unable to attend Mass due to illness, age, or other limitations.  Through visits, prayer, and the sharing of Holy Communion, we remain connected to those who cannot be with us in person.  We want every member of our parish family to know they are remembered, cared for, and always part of our community.  

Ushers assist with seating and comfort needs.  These men and women also take up the offertory collection at Mass.

Women of the parish come together for fellowship, service, and spiritual growth.  Throughout the year, members gather for guest speakers and programs, social events, and fundraising activities that support the parish and community.  This group offers an opportunity to make friends, share talents, and enjoy time together in a welcoming and supportive environment.  First Thursday, 7pm, at the Church. Meetings rarely last more than one hour.
