Serving the Catholic Community

Since 1961

The parish was established in the mid-20th century to serve the expanding Sixteen Acres / East Sprinfield area as Catholics moved out of the downtown neighborhoods.  Giving life to this suburban community.  Its history is less about a single dramatic founding moment and more about steady growth tied to suburban expansion and pastoral needs of the Diocese.

Strong Identity

Great Purpose

Saint Patrick Parish developed a strong identity focused on:

Worship and sacramental life

Family support and faith formation

Outreach and hospitality

Building a Strong Tomorrow

Hope

Today, St. Patrick Parish remains an active Catholic Community in Springfield, continuing to serve local families with Masses, ministries, and outreach.
